What we commit to
- Acknowledge your grievance within 24 hours.
- Resolve within 15 days, per IT Rules, 2021.
- Inform you of the outcome and any action taken.
- Log every grievance in an immutable register for our internal records and external audit.
What to include
- Your name and a contact email.
- A clear description of the grievance.
- If reporting specific content: the URL of the issue, comment, or member profile.
- Any supporting screenshots or context.
What you can complain about
- Content that violates our Terms of Service (hate speech, defamation, doxxing, misinformation, etc.).
- Misuse of your personal information.
- Misuse of optional features such as location detection.
- A decision to block or restrict your account.
- A failure on our part to act on a previous request.
- Anything else where you believe we have not honoured our public commitments.
If you’re not satisfied
If our response does not resolve your grievance, you may escalate to the Grievance Appellate Committee constituted under the IT Rules, 2021, accessible at www.gac.gov.in, within 30 days of our response.
For data-protection grievances specifically, you may also approach the Data Protection Board of India once it is operational under the DPDP Act, 2023.
